Skiing on Monte Rosa
We will arrange accommodation, ski passes, equipment hire and airport transfers so that you can concentrate on skiing. Whether you prefer piste or off-piste the three valleys which make up the Monte Rosa ski centre have enough to keep you busy for many seasons.

Off-piste skiing
Extending across the three valleys of Ayas, Gressonay and Sesia, Monte Rosa offers one of the best centres for off piste skiing in Europe. Breathtaking views across the Monte Rosa massif on uncontaminated slopes and the possibility to undertake extreme descents are what make this a Mecca for off-piste fanatics. The ski lifts take you up as high as 3260m, leaving you with exhilarating 2000m descents back down to the valley floor.
If you have the experience and skills necessary to do it without a guide, you won’t be disappointed. We can arrange to have the guide book sent to you before you arrive so that you can plan what you want to do.
If you are a good skier but have no or little experience off-piste, we can arrange for you to have a guide. Alternatively check out our guided ski trips, packed with the area’s best off-piste descents.
On-piste skiing
Monte Rosa offers 200km of piste which span across three valleys with fantastic views onto the Monte Rosa massif. There is something for everyone with 143km of blue and green runs, 47km of red runs and 10km of black runs. Thirty five ski lifts service the area, one of which takes you up as far as 3260m; this is all included in one ski pass.
What we can offer
Choose between a variety of accommodation options from hotels with excellent Italian food to self catering. We can arrange equipment rental, ski passes and will also send you the guide book if you’re planning to do off piste. It isn’t necessary to have a car once in town, so we will also arrange an airport pick-up and drop-off service.
