Between Valle d’Aosta and the Ligurian coast there is year-round climbing in some of Italy’s best rock climbing locations. From spring to autumn Gran Paradiso National Park and Monte Bianco offer stunning multi pitch granite in amongst alpine meadows and glaciers.

From complete beginners to those with more experience, we work with UIAGM qualified mountain guides who will help you to make the most of your abilities and further your skills and understanding, without compromising your safety.

We have put together 3-7day trips to include some of the area’s best climbing according to season. They have been divided into three levels of difficulty: see the criteria below. Please let us know of your previous experience when you enrol.

Level 0: For beginners who have no or very little previous experience rock climbing, or for those with experience in the mountains scrambling or mountaineering who want to further their skills to include rock-climbing.

Level 1: For those already familiar with the basics of rock climbing. You should be a competent belayer, able to second French grade 5+.

Level 2: For climbers with more experience who are able to second up to French grade 6c.
